My daughter and I had so much fun with Jon.  We have not fished in years. He put us on the fish at our very 1st spot within the first 5 minutes!  The winds were blowing at 25 mph - but we all persevered and had a wonderful catch and a really fun day with Jon!! 

If you’re looking for the Keys backcountry trip you’ve seen on TV, look no further. Cap. Jon put us on fish from the start, made my wife feel right at home on the boat and sent us off with plenty of fillets for dinner at Lazy Days.  Thankfully we wound up the day with a nice grouper… otherwise I’d have to hear all about how she outfished me! 10/10; already planning on a repeat booking for nighttime tarpon.

Captain Jon is the fish whisperer. Within two cast we hooked fish! He put us right on the fish at every spot and it wasn’t just a couple, none stop fun. We had a little time left, my 6 year old son told John he wanted to catch a big shark, I laughed and to my surprise Jon said yes. This is our first time ever getting a guide for a saltwater trip for my wife and son. The process was easy.  The guide that we selected, Captain Jon, was a perfect selection. His attention to detail when it came to my wife and son‘s comfort was top-notch. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, and all-around fun guy to be around. Jon is the absolute MAN! Incredibly knowledgeable and hospitable. We caught about 30 fish in only a few hours. At least 7 species of fish as well! Including a black tip shark which put up quite the fight. We brought back a ton of mangrove snapper and he suggested a place down the street to cook them for us. We ate them for dinner - as fresh at it gets! We had a blast not only because we caught a ton of fish but Jon is a great guy that knows how to have a good time on the water. Thank you Jon!
