Fantastic trip.  8 hours, first mate and captain didn’t quit trying to get us on fish until the last second.  5/5, no complaints whatsoever.  I’ve been on several guides in the states and these two work together better than any captain - mate tandem I’ve seen. What a great day — Manuel was nice enough to pick us up from our hotel, he spoke well and made us feel at ease. Once on the boat, Luis and Fransisco were amazing and full of knowledge. We caught a 3ft barracuda and a 4.5ft Wahoo. Luis then proceeded to filet the fish for us, and Manuel had plenty of wonderful recommendations on restaurants that would cook it for us. Captain Luis and his first mate worked hard and did a great job! We fished for two hours, got three bites and my son landed two barracudas. My son enjoyed his chat with Luis about fishing.  We then went swimming with turtles. Luis took the four of us on a tour, pointed out lots of fish and coral, then we got to see the turtles up close. Luis filleted one fish for us and we let him keep the other. A great day with lots of great memories! Thank you so much!

We had reserved a day of fishing, four hours, and on suggestion from Manny we changed our day to one day earlier due to weather. This was a good recommendation as the weather on our scheduled day was very rough! Anyway, we were picked up on the beach and out we went. We booked a fishing trip pretty last minute with Manny and were very impressed with the service! Manny was quick to respond, communication was no problem, and after getting skunked trolling, offered to bring us back out the next day to do some bottom fishing, but were lucky enough to catch a nice wahoo trolling on the way to the spot and a bunch of red snapper! Was an awesome experience and I highly recommend Manny Tours for fishing around Akumal! Would book again in a heartbeat!
