My son had the best time fishing and even caught a beautiful mahi-mahi! Manny and his crew were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They went above and beyond by helping us prepare our fresh catch, turning it into the most delicious ceviche. It was such a memorable experience, and the whole team made our day extra special. I highly recommend Manny and his crew if you’re looking for an unforgettable fishing adventure. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Great morning out on the water for our family of five. We’d originally been scheduled to go out the day before, but El Norte brought high winds that closed the port. Rescheduling for the next day was easy for the crew, luckily! I was extremely grateful for their flexibility since we were on a short vacation timeline. We reeled in an enormous king fish, which we enjoyed the next several days!! Very successful trip, highly recommend!

Captain Alfredo and his mate were very nice, friendly and professional. They were patient with our impatient kids and led us to several hits which netted us 3 big barracudas (yes we ate em) and a sweet bonito which we ate sashimi.. delicious. My son and our group had a great time!

We really enjoyed our fishing trip and came home with three barracuda and a huge king fish! Our guides were quiet but kind and knowledgeable when we asked questions.

What a great day — Manuel was nice enough to pick us up from our hotel, he spoke well and made us feel at ease. Once on the boat, Luis and Fransisco were amazing and full of knowledge. We caught a 3ft barracuda and a 4.5ft Wahoo. Luis then proceeded to filet the fish for us, and Manuel had plenty of wonderful recommendations on restaurants that would cook it for us. On our drive back to our hotel, Manuel showed us the best local spots for various types of food, and produce. Overall a fantastic day and can’t recommend this company enough! Five stars all around.

Travelling to Rivera Maya, Mexico on holiday I decided to try the fishing in the area s I always try to do on holiday where ever I go. Having the the Fishingbooker app it’s a great way to find out who is doing angling trips in any area. I had asked the hotel for fishing trips nearby and was directed to a very expensive trip. So I tried Fishing booker and got a list of boats nearby. I chose Pio’s tours because of the price, nearby location, reviews and size of the boat. Straight away I had great communication with Manuel the owner and within 5 mins I was booked on a 4 hours trip for around £300(up to 6 people could of come on the trip with me, for the same price) but I fished alone. Not knowing my way around Rivera Maya I asked Manuel if he could pick me up for the same price, which he did better than that, he picked me up from my beach at my resort. Promptly Fernando and Freddo arrive to pick me up at 9am on the dot. The boat itself wasn’t the big game fishing boats I have used before but a more personal 25ft basic but well equipped. Off we set into the blue and within 10/15 mins I was wetting a line. Almost instantly I was in to some fish with guidance of how to expect the fish to bite( I am an experienced sea fisherman but local knowledge is key). To start I was catching Strawberry snapper and array of other small fish. With no fish finder it was local knowledge of Fernando that put us on the fish. We bottom fished at the start and after an hour or so my rod bent it to a better fish resulting in around a 15lb red grouper, that was it, it’s was all big fish from then on, lots of trigger fish at good sizes fishing at different depths. Fernando asked if I would like to start to trolling and again I was into fish straight away with a large barracuda as Freddo set up the out riggers. Fish were biting almost all the time snapping at the fish on the out riggers, another big barracuda soon came with blue fin tuna and yellow tails all taking the bait. I finished with about 30 fish in 4hrs. What a great time fishing with Fernando and Freddo it passed all my expectations. I can recommend Pio’s tour so much for the friendly atmosphere and knowledge on the boat. 10 days after my holiday I am writing this review with a smile, still on my face. Don’t book those expensive massive fishing boat, book the personnel touch and CATCH.

Just back from a trip with wife and kids,I am an avid angler and wanted to target amberjack, Before I booked the trip I asked the question and his prompt reply said "amberjack it's!" So the guys on the boat worked hard to find the fish and we had Landed 2 jacks after an hour or so,we were fishing for 4 hrs and Landed 4 amberjack and a small bonito! We lost a few fish and had one bonito come up with just it's head,all in all fantastic trip and will definitely book again!!

Never fails to find the fish captain Alfredo and crewman Fernando great guys always working to find the fish,one amberjack 2 greater barracuda and lots of red snapper thanks again guy's!
