The wahoo bite has been on fire this spring! Nothing compares to the sound of a Tiagra sounding off with a wahoo on the end of the line! These fish hit trolling plugs at speeds of up to 70mph! They are also one of the best fish in the ocean to eat!

The blue water has pushed in pretty close and we are seeing better weather than we normally have to deal with this time of year! We got into a big school of blackfin and skipjack tuna out on the shelf, catching them every way possible! Chumming/chunking, on the butterfly jigs, and also on the trolling plugs! Great full day of fishing with a great group of guys!

Fall has always been one of my favorite time to fish nearshore for Red Snapper, and for the first time ever the season is open during prime time! The water clarity is 10x better than the summer months, and the colder temperatures bring some large fish in relatively shallow. Nothing can compare to fighting a 25+ LB snapper that eats the bait on the surface. The water isn’t deep enough for the pressure to effect them, so they are 100% muscle at any depth. Stopping that freight train from breaking you off in the wreck will challenge the best of anglers.
