Fall has always been one of my favorite time to fish nearshore for Red Snapper, and for the first time ever the season is open during prime time! The water clarity is 10x better than the summer months, and the colder temperatures bring some large fish in relatively shallow. Nothing can compare to fighting a 25+ LB snapper that eats the bait on the surface. The water isn’t deep enough for the pressure to effect them, so they are 100% muscle at any depth. Stopping that freight train from breaking you off in the wreck will challenge the best of anglers.
