I've been fishing in North Queensland for over 30 years. I grew up fishing for Jungle Perch and Sooty Grunter along the banks of the Mulgrave River, which eventually developed into an obsession with Barramundi fishing. I then moved on to targeting big Barramundi, which became my passion and way of life for many years. These days, other guides follow me around trying to find my Barramundi spots! I started guiding to spend more time fishing and work in an industry I love. I've guided throughout Australia's Top End for sportfishing lodges and multiple luxury mothership operations. I'm very fortunate to have grown up in the Far North Queensland region, with access to so many different sportfishing opportunities and the remote backcountry right on my doorstep.

    First time fishing Australia!

    8 Hr – Guided Lure or Fly • 1 adult

    I have never done a guided fishing trip for any of my fishing adventures, but I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Aaron was my guide and he was nothing short of amazing today! Felt like I was just out fishing with another buddy for the day. The fish were tough being caught today, but we managed to land my 2 first ever GTs and even one the fly! But that wasn't without alot of effort from Aaron. He did everything he could and then some, but the fish just didnt wanna play along. There was probably no help from our shark friend following us around haha. Which was awesome to watch on their sonar! I can't wait to come back to Australia because I will definitely be booking another trip with them! Thanks again Aaron for an awesome day on the water!

    Great time in stunning scenery

    Had a really good time with Aaron as my guide. Tried our very best untill the last call to catch predators but they had different opinion even though we found them well. Scenery was stunning and guide was really pleasant. Would definetly suggest if you can handle the truth that you can’t get guarantee to catching these kind of fish on every trip.

    Oscar took us out in some pretty rainy conditions. despite the weather we still ended up catching a 80cm barra! was beyond stoked. if it wasnt for the rain we would have cleaned up!

    Rory was a great guide. We caught some really nice fish. All his gear was top notch. It was a wonderful trip and we'd fish with him again if we come back!
