If you’re looking to catch fish, you need to go out with captain Kevin. Friendly, knowledgeable on what’s biting and what’s not, and just an overall good man. We didn’t waste time looking for fish that weren’t in season, we went straight to a few spots Kevin had marked previously, and were catching fish immediately. I will go back myself, and would recommend his services to anyone that’s looking for a good day on the water.

First of all, I found Tiffany, the office manager really helpful.  We had to rebook our trip due to bad weather and she was extremely helpful in making the change and sorting out license fees. 

I’ve been going on fishing charters for 30 years in Florida and Texas and I have to say this is the cleanest boat I’ve ever been on.  Kevin had drinks and snacks on board and the boat has a clean bathroom.  Kevin explained how we would be fishing and was extremely patient with my kids, despite their mistakes.  If you have children that are learning to fish, this is the charter for you.  We mainly caught rock bass but had multiple halibut bites.  None of the halibut latched on but we still had a good time.

All in all it was great day in San Diego.  Flat water, nobody got seasick, lots of fish bites and sea life. I highly recommend Kevin as a laid back, patient charter captain.  It one of the best fishing charter trips my kids and I have taken.

If you are looking for a fun adventure with your family then this is it!  Captain Kevin made us feel at home and helped us feel like we had been fishing for years.  Most of our group caught fish and we all had some bites. It was a beautiful day on the bay.

This is the second time I fish with Captain Cibulka and was as impressed as the first trip. Capt. Cibulka got us on the water and fishing quickly. We stayed in the bay and brought up a couple sand bass, a Calico bass and a halibut. Most were too small and had to be released.

The trip is affordable and Capt. Cibulka provides excellent service and equipment. I can’t recommend his operation enough!

Our family of 6 went on a half-day fishing excursion.  We all had an amazing time.  Kevin (the captain) hustled like crazy to make sure we were all doing okay with our bait and technique.  He moved around to different places to make sure we could catch the type of fish we were going after (and his efforts were successful).  He even fileted the fish we caught, which was wonderful.  I would highly recommend taking this adventure!
