We could not have had a better experience!!!!!! There is nothing like a catching a limit while being able to joke back and forth.  From the first 5 minutes upon arrival the captain made us feel ready and excited to have a great experience. If you get the chance to book a trip, I would highly recommend spots to dots.  If you’re lucky he might even give you the hidden secret trick to making a fish bite.  I would tell you, but I’m sworn to secrecy.

I booked the trip as a birthday gift for my boyfriend. We only caught a couple keepers, but we had a great time and it was just great being out on the water for some salt water therapy.  It just sucked that there was so much fresh water coming into the bay which changed the fishing and there wasn’t much the Captain Mike could do about that, but he did a great job trying!  Will definitely book again.

Our trip with Captain Mike exceeded expectations. Prior to the trip he reached out to discuss the trip and advised that due to the heat the bite had really slowed down in the afternoons. I explained we were ok with that and we talked about the big 3 we would target.

The day of the trip we met Captain Mike who was early to the spot and ready to go. We were lucky enough to leave on a major. Mike really knows the local waters and put us on the bite immediately. While most were small we were all getting bites and having fun realign them in. He was outstanding in teaching my son some of the finer points and was a great story teller.

As the bite slowed down we tried a couple of locations until Captain Mike saw the birds and set us in the middle of a feeding frenzy. It was the most incredible 15 minutes of fishing I have ever seen. My son caught a couple of keeper trout and had a blast.

I highly recommend Captain Mike as he was a great guy and guide. He really made it a great trip.

My fiancee and I went out for a morning trip in late May.  Mike called us the day before to find out what we wanted to catch and how to prepare.  He was ready and waiting when we arrived at 6:30.  The bay was very choppy so we stayed in the lake.  It was a quick ride to the spot.  We started catching speckled trout almost immediately, which was the target fish.  We had our limit in well under 2 hours.  We also caught 3 smaller redfish and 2 flounder, one a keeper.  I lost count of how many speckled trout we caught total (catch and release after limit), but it was probably around 40.  This trip was a great value and we very much enjoyed fishing with Mike, who was an expert guide and very friendly.  He fileted the fish when we got back, and we promptly took some to be cooked for lunch.  Highly recommended!

Captain Mike was an awesome guide he is very knowledgeable about the area and the fish and how to get on them. His boat is very nice and rides well and all his reals work as they should with good line will definitely be a repeat customer!
