Awesome day on the water. Windy conditions, but we picked up a few fish in every spot we fished and had a cooler full of fish at the end if the day.

It was an extremely windy and difficult day but Capt Jerod worked hard to put us on fish. It was nice having both live croaker and shrimp.

All was done to get us on fish, and we were successful early.  Once the wind died, all efforts were futile but the effort was there and we even stayed out a bit longer than anticipated.  Word was it was a tough day for everyone and we certainly tried multiple spots, although in vain.

Limit out on trout by 8:30am! Limit out on black drum by 11!  Could not have asked for a better guide or day.  Thanks Jared!

My brother in law “fishing newbie” nephew “fishing newbie” and I went out on a Charter with Captain Jared.  This was their first Charter ever and probably their last.  I commend Jared’s efforts for trying to put us on fish by changing locations several times and the bait, but one keeper trout in a 6 hour period is anything but a good charter. Jared also needs to have a little more patience with new fishermen who are very green and just trying to get into the sport.
