Capt Bill came prepared. The weather looked a little iffy so he brought tackle for inland fishing as well as offshore fishing. He brought different types of bait to target different species of fish. He had waterproof jackets available in case it rained (which, unfortunately, it did). Since I had never gone offshore fishing or fished in salt marshes, he demonstrated techniques before he handed the rod over to me. He then patiently coached me until I got the hang of it.
