Although we didn’t catch anything to grill for dinner, we had some great shark and a sting ray catch. Buddy explained so much and was very friendly and accommodating. It wasn’t the best weather day but he made it work. Thanks again, Buddy! See you next year!

Captain Jay was fabulous! We have been fishing before but this was our first time shaking and we had a great time. Our family or 6 enjoyed the 3 hour excursion and caught lots of sharks. Captain Jay did an excellent job answering my kindergartners endless stream of questions while also teaching my husband and me and our older children about the area and the various types of sharks. He even sent us a recipe to cook our shark that we took home, which was delicious. We would definitely do this again... More

Jay took us out. He pointed out dolphins, told us about local history and interesting facts, and helped our boys catch some really great fish. He fileted our fish and directed us where to go to fet it cooked. It was an amazing day!!

Our trip was awesome, fun, relaxing, and much needed.  Captain Jay was great!  I caught a shark for the first time ever and my youngest daughter pulled in a black drum which was her first catch ever. We thoroughly enjoyed our time.  There weren’t many bites, but that’s nature’s fault.  We did get to see a bald eagle too! I’d definitely book with Captain Buddy’s again, hopefully sooner than later!

Captain Jay took 5 adults out on his 26’ center console to 4 or 5 different locations with different species. Although we didn’t have too many bites that morning, his local knowledge of the waters was abundant and he was attentive to be sure everyone’s line kept bait for anything that was moving this time of year. Ended up catching a few whitefish and 2 shark species, everyone had an awesome time.
