we spent a very enjoyable morning with tommy. my son, two grandchildren and myself. he is a top notch guide, combining a lifetime of knowledge, great vessel and gear, with a knowledge of the lake and where to go. if the fish weren’t biting in one spot, we moved to another. caught plenty of fish, saw some great scenery besides. he spent extra time with my 9 yr old grandson, as this was his first time fishing. hopefully you will take advantage of some time on the lake with tommy, you won’t be disappointed.

We had two adults and three kids ages 10 and under. Everything that Captain Tommy could control was perfect. He was punctual, the boat was clean and safe, the gear was excellent, and Tommy was a patient and kind guide to a group of non-fishermen that included some very curious and talkative kids. I strongly recommend him to anyone.

We had two main strategies jigging & casting.
Several times someone called TC to tell or ask where fish were that day.
We kept it moving from catch to catch all day long.
We caught 83 keepers.  And, we threw at least that many back.
The boat, sonar and trolling gear are awesome - kept us on all day long.

It was our 8 year old’s birthday.  Both the boys had a blast.  We got to share the time with Pappy.  Everyone caught fish.  There was one time where I wish we could have had drone video of it: the fish were popping the water 360 degrees around the boat within 10 feet of the boat out further than we could cast.  WE WERE IN THE FISH -  it sounded like a waterfall there was so much activity.

We caught 5 species of fish: white bass, hybrid stripers, catfish, large mouth, and small mouth.

The Birthday Boy caught the 1st and last fish.  He brought in 3 species of fish.  He was the best Slab Jig fisherman on our trip (a first for us all).  TC was so patient and helpful throughout.  We all agree this was our best outing ever.  And, I think Trystan will want to come back every year for his birthday, LOL.

Captain Tommy is a fantastic guide. We’ve fished with him a few times, and always have a great time. He’s the consummate professional, always there when you need anything. He puts you on fish and cleans up your big catch perfectly. Tommy is great with kids as well.
