Alan was a great captain- kind and helpful. Finally got a catch on the way back and he patiently helped us reel in a HUGE marlin! We saw many dolphins and yellowfin tuna during the boat ride too. A trip we will never forget.

Nice easy trip leaving in the morning from the main pier in zihua. Our captain wasn’t very talkative but very knowledgeable and kind. We hooked up early leaving the bay and trilled out way to the white rocks offshore. Numerous Black Tuna hookups with 1 Mahi Mahi. Got all four rods hiked up near the white rocks. Continued south past Barra de Potosi and tried casting for Jack. Harder than it looks to balance. Nada Jack but we did see bottlenose dolphins feeding in the surf. Headed back by 1pm... More

Great day fishing with captain Alan Chavalas. Caught a big sailfish.

We had a great captain that was knowledgeable and patient. Would recommend fishing on “Tarpon” to anyone who asked.

Alan worked hard with me to try and catch every type of fish offered in the area this time of year. Skip jack were easy to catch but the Mahi took a little longer but was worth it.  Yellow tail and Spanish Mackerel never showed but Alan tried. We trolled for hours and even hooked a grouper that broke the line.
