Our 5 hour trip with Captain Jim was everything we had hoped for in a short fishing trip.  Captain Jim was knowledgeable of the area and of the fish we were catching and all his equipment was in top shape.  The gulf was very choppy, which my son didn’t like at all and the ride out to our location was long, but Captain Jim put us on the fish and we started catching them!  Near the end of our day, we hooked an 8’ bull shark, which was a fantastic way to end the day.  My son, who was at first ready to turn around and go home, had the time of his life and the trip was worth every penny!  Great job Captain Jim!  I hope to see you again next year!

Captain Jimmy did an awesome job of making sure we catch some fish and teaching me a lot in the process. He really knows his stuff and I bet anyone can learn something from him regardless of their level of experience. He’s a great guy and I would book again anytime and can only recommend you choose him as captain for your next fishing trip!

This was my 10- and 12-year-olds’ first fishing experience, and it could not have been more positive! Captain Billy (one of Captain Barry’s employees) picked a spot ripe with fish, answered all of my kids’ questions, and ensured everyone was happy. We started off with a manatee sighting, then motored for about 20 minutes down one of the canals. My kids caught at least 5 different types of fish, and I think our total count was 15. I highly recommend this trip and Captain Barry’s business. He responded quickly to my booking and was easy to communicate with. The dock we left from was almost an hour away from our Naples condo, but there is free parking and no crowds, so for a first time experience, it’s stress free.
