We had such an awesome time with Salty Rods Fishing Charter and Captain Bubba! We went out with my 13-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter, and Captain Bubba was so great with the kids. Such a great time! My family went out as a first time experience and we knew it was a hit and miss. You never know what you’ll catch or if you catch anything at all. I got boat sick, but my family had a great time. We caught 2 good size sharks. Our captain was so chilled and answered every question we had. After our trip, he cleaned and cut everything up for us! Worth every penny.

1st trip for my kids and was hoping they could catch something from the salt. Captain knew the kids were inexperienced and got them on bait fish. Once we had what we needed took us out so the boys could catch big stuff. And they did. We made the most of a tough bite. We were one of the few boats consistently catching fish. Morning started out slow but as the water got moving we tied into a few finetooth sharks, as that bite slowed we got a report of another bite, moved spots and finished the day off with a good sized eater blacktip. Captain explained everything, we caught lots of bait fish and that was the most fun for us newbies. Catching a shark was also fun but alot more work and patience. Would definitely recomend to everyone.
