Captain John and his mate George were absolutely amazing!  Three people on the boat never ocean fished before and both of these men were very patient with them.  As for myself, I had recently had surgery to repair a broken upper arm and Captain and mate were right there to help me out when my arm was getting tired!!  I’m not sure if they stayed out there longer because they lost track of time or not, but Captain gave us some extra time which allowed every one of us to get at least one keeper.  I would 100% recommend Captain John and crew on the F/V Lobster Tale to any of my friends!!

Just a top notch fishing experience.

Before the trip even started John reached out about some small questions about the trip and was both knowledgeable and accommodating.

It was easy to tell both the Capitan John and the First Mate George are true professionals. It was a little rough the day we went out but John was able to plan the trip in such a way to take us to spots in which it was calmer but still good fishing. This was both through his knowledge and communication with other boats. As a plus we also got to see a fair share of whales the whole journey.

Overall It was clear that John and George were personally invested in seeing you succeed on their boat, and went about and beyond to give you the best chance at catching fish. This along with being knowledgeable at their craft and friendly is in my opinion all you can want in a crew.

While we didn’t get a Tuna, I am sure we maximized our odds. We did leave with a ton of Mackerel and Pollock which we caught while we fished for the Tuna. This perfectly satisfied our goals for the trip, and would recommend it.

Best fishing trip EVER. Capt John answered all questions before the trip.  He provided precise directions to meet him. Capt John was conscientious, caring and dedicated to giving us a wonderful, worry-free adventure.  His calm demeanor combined with lifelong experiences enabled us to relax, feel at home on his boat and have a good time.  We were lucky enough to catch enough fish to bring home.  He monitored schools of fish and kept us busy reeling them in for hours.  It was a perfect first day of summer.  Mild water conditions allowed us to drift along with the fish. We caught more than we kept, adhering to legal sizes and types of fish to keep. Capt. John and his wonderful mate released all fish necessary to stay within boundaries of fishing rules and regulations.  Capt. John and his mate were very accommodating to our needs, questions and making sure we were having a good time.  They were really nice guys. If you’re looking for a charter boat, Capt.
