The winter steelhead fishing is picking up and will only get better from here on out. The weather has been warmer then normal and with a lot of rain the past three weeks. It has pushed a lot of new fish into the river. Now is the time to book a trip and get on the action.

Lenny did a good job once he worked out the problems. We arrived at our scheduled time and when he was doing his check realized he had mechanical issues, my suggestion would have been arrive prior to time to assess safety check He borrowed a boat, which he continued to tell us was not equipped with proper equipment, this caused quite a struggle for him to adapt. Honestly I did arrive early to do my safety checks and the clients where there early.Secondly the only reason I went out of my way to get another boat to do the trip is because I put my clients ahead of my problems As far as leaving after everyone had caught a fish the sun had set and by the time we got back to the dock it was almost completely dark and that is a normal trip.Most Captains would have cancelled the trip and that would have been the end .I took this picture of our last fish and...
