Awesome trip we had a great morning and caught a fair amount of fish. I would use again in the future and recommend to others.

Great trip

Good time.  Told her I wanted to catch fish and we did black Sea bass. Told me to move my spot on the boat next thing you know I had a fish on. Smooth boat ride in and out. Everyone had fun.

Friendly and knowledgeable captain. Communication issues.  There was a smaller boat and larger boat they had at the dock. When we arrived we found out we were taking the larger boat which worked out well for the guys we had with us on the trip. The boat had a full walk around with a nice inside resting place for those who need it. Boat was also very clean. Rods were decent for what we were fishing for.  My only issue with the online booking process was lack of communication with the captain and my self. We had a nice size bachelor party going out and to find out last minute that our 8 hr trip was going to be cut short due to personal reasons for the captain. Since we found out such last minute, we had no time to work things out or find another charter boat. I will chalk this up as a learning experience and know better for next time. All in all, we made the best of our shortened trip and with our group of guys any time is a good time.

The trip was rescheduled twice. The first time I received a call asking what I wanted to fish. I had already booked it as a trip to go after Mahi Mahi, albacore, yellowfin tuna. When I restated this I was told it would be unlikely we would be able to go after said fish and would I like to go after flounder, bass. I re-emphasized I would like to go after Mahi Mahi etc… I was called back and told the weather was not conducive 07/17/18. I agreed to reschedule for 07/18/18. I was called on 07/17 and told the weather was not conducive on 07/18. I agreed to reschedule for 07/19 and was assured the weather would be highly conducive to our fishing request.
I received no call on 07/18 and assumed the trip was on. We arrived at the dock at 650AM 07/19 and the boat was not on and they were still loading ice bags. A woman introduced herself as Cindy and asked if we wanted to add any additional bait for flounder or bass. I again stated I would like to go for Mahi Mahi etc… I was told the Captain would be Tony and Cindy was the Deck hand. There was 1 additional crew member that was the helmsman.
We did not have much success. We caught 4 small mackerel and 1 small tuna. We spent the whole time trolling. The rods were set at 845AM and we caught the last fish at 945AM. No bait change was made and no special attention was given to watching the reels. Myself and my brother-in-law were watching the reels and getting the kids involved.
All in all I think the experience was less than average. If there was concern about going after the fish I wanted then this should have been stated and the trip cancelled. Once she agreed to postpone and reschedule I think we were expecting better results. I did not seem like there was a lot of interest in making this trip as successful as possible. If she only wanted to go after inshore or bay fish then state that right away and say I will not go after off shore fish.
I been on other charters in other waters and this was not better than average.
