The Fishing Gods were looking down on me the day I booked this fishing charter for me & my friends!  What an AMAZING experience!  Captain Troy and Gary were on point!  We caught a wide variety of fish including 4 HUGE Amberjack.  There’s nothing better than having an experienced Captain who knows where the fish are.  It’s a good thing we brought an extra-large cooler with us because we filled it up!  You would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn’t book the Miller Time Sportfishing charter the next time you’re in Islemorada!

Capt. Troy and James are elite fishing guides. We got on first early, and the whole day was excellent. The boat is in great shape. The tackle was also great. They are also funny, friendly and kind guys. My 7 year old son had 10,000 questions and they were all answered thoughtfully. I am certain I would have had a blast with my buddies also. This is a great thing to have in a fishing crew. Certainly would love to go again with these dudes. You should go with them too.

We did a boys trip, booking the Miller time for back to back half days.  Captain Troy and his Mate James were great guys, very friendly and accommodating, and clearly knew their stuff.  On the first half day, we got a sailfish, a large red mutton snapper (that got bitten in half by a shark!) and a whole bunch of yellow snapper, which Troy filleted for us and we took to Lazy Days restaurant, where they cooked it four different ways for us…best fish I ever had, would highly recommend going there as well, right on the beach a few miles from Miller Time’s dock.  Day two we had some weather rolling in (we were supposed to go out in the afternoon, but Troy had the morning open so we both agreed it would be best to get out before the weather kicked in….turned out to be a really good call!).  We drift fished some wrecks, pulling in two giant barracuda and a good sized scup, and we lost several fish to the sharks on their way in.  So overall the fishing wasn’t lights out, but it was good, and more importantly the Captain and Mate did everything they could to put us on fish, and the type of fish we wanted, so I would be glad to recommend Captain Troy and Miller Time Sportfishing to anyone heading down to Islamorada!

Fishing with Captain Troy and Mark was the highlight of our trip to the keys. It was our first time deep sea fishing. We were TAUGHT to fish with a jig, trolling, and live bait. Both were very knowledgeable and put us on great fishing. It’s exciting when the crew high fives each other over the fish you just reeled in. The boat is clean, comfortable and we were well taken care of. Captain Troy and Mark are our favorite people in the Keys, they are a riot, we laughed to the point of tears.
