This skipper worked hard all trip finding us fish then keeping us in the fish. Great but relaxing day!

Had a great early June trip on the Essex River.  Stripers were blitzing in the mouth on small bait on the incoming.  Captain expertly set us on a repeated drift through the hit zone where stripers were caught on spin and fly tackle all multiple drifts resulting in a great trip for me and my son.

Went out with my Fiance who has never caught fish. She not only learned very easily thanks to the instruction from Erik, but ended up catching 4 cod, 3 haddock, 1 hake, one whiting, and a dogfish!!! We caught a lot more than that too, and the size of the boat is perfect for a fun & intimiate ocean experience

Eric, our captain was great!  We started at the crack of dawn and had a beautiful sunrise to watch as we cruised out. We started by catching bait fish, mackerel, and had lots of fun when we found them. We then went on for the tuna. We have e it a good effort with trolling and had a little excitement when our bait started to jump around.  None the less we had no luck and decided to head back for a little stripper hunting. We ended up hooking up a couple times and landed one. 

They call it fishing and we did that!!  The trip was a success as we did all we could do with the guidance of our experienced captain. We will definitely go back with Captain Eric. He knows what he is doing and was , at times, more impatient than us. We agreed that fishing is a little luck, a little more skill, and a whole lot of knowledge.  Captain Eric brings the knowledge and skill. We just weren’t lucky on this day.  Be back soon and will call Eric we’ll before to charter again. Thanks Cap!!
