His father was a Lake Erie Chatter Captain since the early 1970s. Captain Ron earned his USCG Master's License in 1985 and has been a full-time charter captain and guide ever since. 2024 is his 40th season as a captain and guide. Captain Greg Moore has been a captain and guide for Mar-Lu Sport Fishing for over 25 years, and has been a licensed captain and guide since 1980. Captains Ron and Greg will do their best to make sure you have a memorable day on the water.
Techniques
Walleye: April-early May, jigging; mid-May through October, drift-casting with spinner lures and nightcrawlers. Yellow Perch: August-October, multi-hook rigs with shiner minnows.
