Mr. John was a friend I never knew I had. Soon as you step on the boat you feel like you’ve known him for years. We talked about everything and solved half the world’s problems. The fish didn’t quite do right as rain was coming, tide was in-between, etc. But even still we caught a few smaller ones. But we’ve already agreed on a make up trip later on. My Dad and I have been coming down and fishing Apalachicola bay for a lot of years.  Captain JB put us on more fish in one day then we have caught in all the other years combined.  He shared tons of tips and tricks that we intend to implement ourselves and hopefully improve our future outings.

Booked this trip not knowing anything except reviews. I’ve never fished this area or oyster bed areas before. John was at the dock and ready to go before time. The boat is comfortable, in great shape and very stable. John gave us a lot of fascinating local history and knowledge. I caught about 30 white trout and whiting and kept about 20. John was great!  He knows his way around the waterways and is a lifelong fisherman of Apalachicola.  We caught fish right off the bat!  We will book John every time we come to Apalachicola!

Captain JB was great.  Very knowledgeable local guy.  Two adults, and 3 kids went.  It was windy, but he still knew where to go to catch fish.  He took us to an oyster bed and we crushed white trout.  Filled a bucket up. I would definitely use his services again.
