On the very first page of our listing in the description section of our charter business it states:

“If you book a private trip, you will be able to keep 50% of your catch under 100 lbs, and it could be cleaned and filleted for you to take home after the trip and have for dinner later. For shared trips, it’s 2 lbs per person.”

Our 2 pound policy should not have been a surprise coming onboard as it is very clearly stated in our listing. Selling the additional fish is how our crew makes a portion of their income. Yes, we sold the two larger fish (25 lb mahi and 30 pound ono) and filleted our other three fish (20 lb mahi, 25 lb ono, 5 lb shibi).  I also gave each person five pounds of fish which is well beyond the 2 pounds we normally offer.
In the future I hope you review these details a bit more carefully before booking and before leaving a poor review. Bad reviews affect our ability to make a living. We work very hard to take great care of our guests and show them the best experience we can, just as we did with you. Thank you again for fishing with us.
