Captain Bill was EXACTLY what we needed!  My friend and I came down to South Carolina to learn about fishing the renown Lake Marion.  Captain Bill gave us a seasons worth of information in a single day.  We learned where the Bass were likely to be and three different approaches to catching them.  Captain Bill broke techniques down in easy to understand bits of information that both respected our base knowledge and added much more to it.  With this knowledge, we feel that the rest of our time here will be SO much more productive than if we just tried to figure it out for ourselves.  Lake Marion is unique for many reasons, you can ask Captain Bill about it, or just read about it online.  That being said, you really should consider using a guide to get you started, and for my money Captain Bill is the one to use.  Oh…and beyond all that…. WE CAUGHT FISH!!!...a bunch of them, and a couple really good size ones as well.  I highly recommend Captain Bill for your Lake Marion fishing excursion!!!
