Some big trout coming in this week. Along with some salmon.

Early morning and later evening have been better than mid day. Mid day is ok still, but best fishing is now early or late. Lakers still dominate the catch. Caught a huge walleye this morning as a bonus. Some steelhead and some small salmon still showing up as well.

Lots of trout, a few smaller salmon showing up. If you have kids that want action, fishing will continue to be hot for the next month for sure.

Weather was excellent the last couple of days. Some of the best fishing I’ve seen going on right now. Shallow water laker fishing with some small spring salmon and some steelhead coming in this week.

My husband’s & my 1st chartered fishing trip, I honestly cannot think of a way to improve the trip. Capt Brian and his son work very well together. Both have spent their lives on this lake, the experience & love of it is obvious. Brian is easy going, fun to talk with, and very informative. Luke is very cordial, respectful & hell of a worker. Because of a cancelation of our intended charter we contacted True Blue Charters at 10:00PM the night before we wanted to go out. The whole process was efficient and fast. We were on the boat the next afternoon. Had a great time. Because a storm blew through our charter was cut short. No matter we caught almost our limit. We were impressed by how the crew stowed the gear and handled the boat. We are already a trip next year and True Blue is the only place we will go to. Conrad
