Had a great time fishing with Captain Mike. Seas were rough going out and back, but one of my kids would have paid for the boat ride alone. Caught a few fish. Enough for a few dinners. Everyone hauled in a nice fish. We will book him again when we are down this way. Thanks for the great day.

Had a wonderful time and experience fishing with Captain Mike and 1st mate Wesley. They got as excited as we did every time a rod tip bent to the water. I had two 16 year olds out for their first time, and Captain Mike explained everything to them, helped us all, and made us feel so welcome to be on his boat. We had fish on the grill that night that he cleaned for us!
We will definitely make this at least a yearly event!

My Grandson and I had a great day out with Mike & Mike. Caught several nice fish and had a memorable trip. Captain Mike and his son did everything to assure we enjoyed our trip. Would definitely take another trip with them in the future!

I took three 13 year old and younger kids with me and we had a blast. The fish were not biting the best but Mike put us on them everywhere we could and we caught some fish. We all four had a great time. Mike and deckhand Mike did a fantastic job.

Took a group of 6 out on Capt. Chapman’s boat.  First thing I have to say is that Capt. Mike knows the Mexico Beach/PSJ waters and is a good boat captain.  Knowledgeable about the area and he was able to safely get us pretty far out for boat his size as well as bringing us in through a fairly bad pop up squall sitting right over our dock and launch. Lots of good stories, information, and advice as fishing and the sea are in his family.

Now a couple of small dings - nothing particularly negative just some information or something to verify with the Captain or how to conduct yourselves.  The listing noted there would be a first mate or deck hand, on this particular trip we didn’t have one available - not the biggest problem but knowing a day or so in advance of that we would have been more prepared to lend Capt. a hand and also keep an eye on my nephew who has never been out on the water fishing before.  Also make sure to ask about life jackets if anyone needs to have one on, I think someone in my group saw a few stowed for emergency but he didn’t make mention of them or offer to nephew.  Finally, partially my fault for assuming but would have figured the boat would have some sort of spartan primitive bathroom - make sure everyone goes before you shove off!

Overall I enjoyed the experience (aside from unintentional chumming using my breakfast that took me out of fishing for a couple of hours, but that’s not his fault hah) and pitching in.  The only thing I’ll qualify my recommendation on is that unless his first mate is available a trip with Capt. Mike would be more enjoyable for an experienced group who are all ready to work as opposed to a novice group.
