Well croaker season has arrived! Using live croaker on bottom with a shaker is the easiest way to catch trout in 2 to 3ft of water over potholes. Spring tides have brought in a fresh concentrations of bait and the fish will follow them till summer. Find the baitfish you will find plenty of keeper trout. Tight lines my friends!

South Texas is starting to heat up with redfish moving shallower and trout aggressively feeding. Lots of fish coming off pot holes and grass lines in 2ft of water. Limits of sheephead are common around the jetties and Baffin Bay has been hit and miss over the rocks. Drift fishing has been the ticket and live shrimp is the key. Tight lines.

Migration of black drum starting in the lower laguna. Fun to catch. Trout are good on swim baits in lighter colors. Reds are shallow early, look for the mullet they will be mixed in. Find 4ft of water close to IWC fish wont be far. Tight lines!
