This was our first charter with Reel Charters, and we know it is the first of many. Not only did Captain Josh recommend a better area thank we originally booked when he learned that we had young kids, he helped set up the lines, so the kids brought in the first fish! Then when he saw my five year old was hot and tired, he built a little fort for him on the boat and took us to an area of the bay where the kids could swim while the adult went wade fishing. Wow!!!! Is probably the first word that comes to mind about the day. This was a back to school Mother sons getaway. We wanted the day to be fun spending time together on the water and catching some fish if the day permitted. Captain Josh was great.  Very flexible about our charter as we booked it the day before.  He took my family out for about 2 hours until my 8 and 3 year old got board and dropped them off so he and I could go back out.  His is great with kids and showed my 3 year old how to work the reel. We did any afternoon trip and unfortunately the fish were not bitting but still had a great time with Josh.  Would book again the next time we go to Galveston.

Great boat captain he’s even a better fisherman. I will be fishing with captain Joshua again. I’d recommend this captain to anyone who wants to go fishing. Thanks captain.

We had a slow start to the day but Capt. Josh still kept doing what he could to get us on some fish.  We eventually got on some and the kids really had a great time.  Josh was a great captain and would really recommend him to anyone.  We will be back and charter with Reel Talk Charters.
