Background: I've been fishing all my life. I caught my first big fish off the Rodanthe pier in 1970. Got my first boat in 1979 and my Capt Lic. in 1991. Got trained to scuba dive and became what others call a world-class diver to depths of 400ft or more to wrecks. So I kinda have inside knowledge on the fish and know what's down there.
Techniques: Love to overnight fish and wreck fishing. You just never know what you're gonna catch.

The Captained blamed us for not catching fish. I understand some days the fish just aren’t cooperating. It’s It’s no one’s fault. The few fish we caught the first mate had to hold the fish in every picture. It would have been nice to have pictures with our catch.

I’m sorry you had such a bad time, but I told you guys we can’t make you into fisherman in a day. To wreck and bottom fish requires you to actually hook your own fish. The bites/fish where there and the fact you kept coming up with no bait means you missed the fish, there is a learning curve but you guys couldn’t seem to get the hang of it. The mate did not hold every fish only when you were trying to stand because you didn’t have good sea legs. I have attached photos of you with a fish while seated and the mate holding a fish while standing for safety reasons because you guys couldn’t hardly even stand without holding the fish, also attached is photo of fish on the bottom machine. I never actually did say you were to blame, I did say the box should be full. Again I’m sorry you didn’t have a good time.
