We booked this trip through fishing booker.  We were not disappointed! Captain Payton was awesome!  We hit a bunch of red snappers (out of season) for fun along with some Trigger fish.  Then we went mingo hunting and we started catching so many I got tired and so did my son!  There was plenty of bait and the boat and the tackle was well kept.  Captain Payton was very personable and easy to talk too.  He was very knowledgeable about the area and a bout how to fish for different species. ... We had a great time today!  We caught a lot of fish and this was by far the best charter we have done yet.

Captain Magnum is awesome! He is extremely knowledgeable and kind! He was excellent with my two boys. The youngest was nervous but by the end he was fishing and feeling more confident! 10/10 would definitely recommend and I can’t wait to book again on our next trip down to Destin!

The three of us had a great time in a 1/2 day trip on Southern Country Charters. Our Capt. was great and very knowledgeable on different techniques. We caught the bigger fish free casting after he saw some snapper up closer to surface. I will go again without question.
