Hi Andrea. So I want to address you comments above. The trolling motor is a tool for our captain, and it is a Luxury that was unfortunately not working. If you would like to leave a poor review about that, I would recommend going to the Minn Kota website and letting them know your opinion!

As for the fishing, Captain Herbie and myself are very knowledgeable of the area and where to catch fish. The one thing that we cannot control, however, is the state law on what you are allowed to keep while fishing. We will not keep fish out of season as it is against state law and we abide by the law on our charters. If keeping fish for a dinner is your main goal, I never recommend a four hour trip as it is not enough time this year to catch meals. I hope you find the perfect charter for your next trip. Hi Lane! So I’m a bit confused on the review here and what your expectations might have been going into this fishing trip, and what constitutes such a low review here. On a four hour fishing trip in the late fall during a red tide bloom, it’s not very likely that you’re going to catch that monster legal keeper fish you’ve always dreamed of catching.

If the review is more about your experience on the boat or with our captain, please let me know. But a negative review for catching fish out of season and undersized (that the state of florida has complete control over, NOT us) then I think that’s a pretty unfair review. We abide by State and Federal laws, and that’s not going to be changing. Anyways, cheers 🤙🏼
