Magnum was a great captain, he considered our circumstances and provided us with an enjoyable time. I get sea sick easy so he stayed close by in case we needed to cut our trip short. But the trip was great, got our 4 hours in. He didn’t waste time on spots that weren’t yielding results. If we pulled up something that we couldn’t keep it was a nuisance, he took us to another spot. We went out with Payton Friday, June 30, for the six hour fishing charter and had a great time. He is very accommodating and knowledgeable, and patient. We caught a trigger fish and he showed us the reason for the name. We have done a fishing charter every year and Payton is the first captain that we would go back to. Weather was rough when we were originally scheduled…Magnum was willing to give it a try but gave us the option to try it, cancel for a full refund, or reschedule…we rescheduled and had an awesome time!  He put us right on the fish!!  Made it fun for our 10 year old first timer and answered ALL of his many questions!!!

My 13 year old son and I had a great time fishing with our captain Magnum!  He was kind and patient, as were both inexperienced anglers.  We caught some cool fish, including a good sized Trigger fish and just had a great afternoon.  Magnum put my son at ease, called him “buddy”.  Like an instant family member.

We had a great trip. Captain Magnum went the extra mile to be sure we had a good time. We caught enough fish for our dinner (which was the goal, since we can’t take them home on the plane) and then tried for some bigger fish (out of season, but had fun trying).
