We were a party of 4 from the uk and booked a half day trip. Jim was very knowledgeable and friendly. Put us on the fish straight away and we came away with 13 keepers, 4 different species, 3 in Jim’s top 5! Jim expertly filleted our catch and recommended we take them to the Anchor Inn. They prepared an absolutely amazing meal for us within 40 minutes of arrival, cooking the fish 3 different ways. It was the perfect end to the trip. Fish from sea to table in under 5hrs.

Jim provided top notch service, great hospitality and he knew some great fishing spots. This was my first fishing charter with my son and Jim basically did everything for us i.e baiting line and filleting the fish.  He knew some great spots and we haulled in a lot of fish of a wide variety. The boat was setup perfectly with all the tech and amenities.  Would highly recommend Jim’s fishing charter to anyone, novice or experienced fisherman.

Jim was a champion had us right onto the fish and caught at least 4kg of reef fillets in 4 hours. special catch was a 65cm Tusk fish. Jim filleted everything which made it a clean get away. Recommended morning fishing experience from Airlie Beach.

What can I say that best describes our fishing trip with the guys from ‘Airlie Beach Fishing Adventures’…sensational!! My wife, 16yr old daughter, 7yr old autistic son and I book the boat so it was just for us and the guys were amazing with our son, they put us straight onto hook up after hook up. My kids caught their first fish that put a bend on the rod. Communication with Jim was super easy. He was extremely knowledgeable, accommodating and also helpful, patient and kind to myself and parents who were fishing for the first time. We caught some amazing variety of fish both large and small and were given recommendations on how to cook it. He also filleted and bagged everything up for us.
