Wind was 30 mph out of the Northwest. Spent the day in duck ponds trying to hide from the wind. Plan A and B was a bust but plan C was a homerun. Managed to find a bank protected from the wind not to far from the launch. The redfish, sheepshesd, and flounder were sitting there waiting on us. Total fish caught were 10 reds,1 flounder, and 1 sheephead.

I highly recommend this charter! Captain Mitchel was so polite and experienced. We did a family charter and my daughter and I had very little experience fishing. He helped us every step of the way and made sure we all caught our limit of fish. He then cleaned and bag all of them for us. We were staying in the French Quarter and it was an easy 30 minute drive to the launch site. Next time we are in New Orleans we will definitely book again!

Captain Mitch was terrific, and I couldn’t be more pleased with this fishing trip. We caught plenty of fish… enough keepers to feed our group… and got to explore different parts of the lake/bayou and see wildlife (gators, birds, and even dolphins) that I wasn’t expecting. Captain Mitch went above and beyond, and was personable and knowledgeable throughout, and may this trip an absolute joy. I’ll be back!

The weather wasn’t great the day we went, but our Captain Mitchell was the best. He made all the amateurs on the trip feel very comfortable. He was especially kind to our 16 old son and gave him many tips on catching a red fish. We stayed out until we all caught at least one fish. Though we caught only 4 fish we would do it again in a heartbeat. Best time of our whole trip!!!

Thank you Kenneth. I’m glade y’all had fun. Y’all fished hard. We started exactly where I had caught them the morning before. Found out they had moved but knew they couldn’t have went far. Bc of the weather I decided to troll west but the fish had swam east. Tried different spots without much luck.
