Thank you for your review. The walleye fishing has had its ups and downs over the last 2 weeks. Somedays they are hot and others they are cold with no way to predict the bite. Perch fishing on the other hand has been extreemly slow for the last few weeks, with only a few fish for the entire boat the norm. Recently I have turned all my perch trips into walleye trips in hopes for better catches. 100% oversite on my part as i always communicate this with all my guests in advance and I missed this request with your group. I do apologize. I would love the opportunity to get you on some perch. In recent years October has been best, once the water cools. We also had a great bite in late July and early August but it was short lived. Traditionaly this time of year is good for perch but we have recently had an massive hatch of an invasive species, the spiny water flea. It has dominated as the main food source for perch leaving them stuffed to the gills with no ambition to bite our hooks. Once the water cools and the fleas dissapear the perch fishing will get better quickly.  Thank you for fishing with us.
