Techniques
Captain Mason specializes in Red Drum and Flounder fishing during the warmer months of the year. He usually targets Red Drum in 2-6 ft of water. In the cooler months, you will target Speckled Trout, Red Drum, and Black Drum. The captain enjoys taking kids out and on these trips, you will use mostly live bait. He is also very comfortable using artificial lures for the more experienced anglers.

Here are a few pics from the past few trips. We have been seeing good numbers of black drum around. These fish should hang around for the next couple of months. Redfish are scattered out and can be caught in the same areas as the black drum. Speckled trout bite has been up and down lately but we have been seeing some keeper fish around. April is shaping up to be a good month for inshorefishing ,so do not miss your chance.

December is one of the best months of the year for speckled trout. We typically use live bait for speckled trout but can also throw artificial baits to these fish. If you are looking for a gator trout, now is the time. Red Drum and black drum are also still hanging around in their typical winter holes. We are fishing creeks and flats searching for warmer water temps in December. Book your trip with me today and ill see you on the water!!
