Our family of 5 went for a half day bill-fishing trip. We found success and caught a Bonita and Sailfish. Capt and Mate know what they are doing and worked hard. However, I think they exercised poor judgement by not cancelling the trip due to weather. Seas were easily >6’. No one could stand or walk without holding on to something. My wife and young daughter were basically locked to the couch for fear of crashing into the wall. We knew the weather was coming in, took Dramamine and were ready. The Captain warned us it would “be rough.” We can handle rough, but rely on the Captain’s judgement about when ‘rough’ becomes ‘dangerous’. We were all in the cabin when we hit one wave that brought a VERY large offshore rod/reel crashing down from where it was stowed on the ceiling. If it had been 6” to the left, I’d be in hospital with a serious head injury. I called the trip at that point.

Good guys. I’d fish with them again and I hate writing anything less than a positive review, but they have the responsibility (and duty) to know when seas are unsafe.

Absolutely a great time, met Captain Jason and First Mate Matt and headed off. We quickly started catching Mahi Mahi, then the bite turned to Black Fin Tuna where at one point we had 4 hooked up at a time. Captain Jason and Matt were awesome and we will be booking with them again. Highly recommend!

This was the best part of our entire 6 day trip!!!
Don and Heath were awesome!  Taught this girl a lot!!!  Also I learned never, I mean never ever bring Bananas!!!!!!! (Should have known better from my Wicked Tuna show). 
Thank gosh they saw them before I got on board or my husband and crew may have thrown me overboard!!!!! and we may not have caught anything, however we both caught Mahi and at one point we were both hooked up at same time.  It was amazing trip.  We will return!!!  They took great care of us and take their advice and take it to the Hogfish Bar and have them prepare several different ways and they will. It was awesome goodness!!!!  Y’all are the greatest and we will return,  sooner than later!!!!
