It was unfortunate that despite the relatively calm seas we encountered during your trip, you and most of the other members in your group got sea sick. Both my deckhand and I attempted to assist and make all of you as comfortable as possible with the understanding that sea sickness is not a fun experience. In any event, in the future, I would suggest that you take your motion sickness medication a few hours before we leave the dock and not while offshore after the symptoms of sea sickness have started.

However, due to the fact that your review lacks specifics, I am unsure as to why you only gave me a three-star rating for “over all” and a two-star rating for “boat”. In any event, I will attempt to address your review as best I can with the limited information you provided. As you should recall, I included an additional hour of fishing at no additional charge which appears to be unappreciated. And as to your low opinion of my boat the “MV Carolyn Jane”, evidently you are unaware of just how reliable and seaworthy this vessel is. For example, the MV Carolyn Jane is a renovated 36-foot Chris Craft Sport Fishing Yacht that has passed regular annual U.S. Coast Guard safety inspections. In addition, the boat’s reliable engines, which were recently installed are regularly and meticulously maintained. The exterior and interior of the boat, which includes a full-sized restroom are also regularly maintained and are thoroughly cleaned in preparation for each trip…. We try extremely hard to satisfy our customers at Ultra Fishing Charters and it is unfortunate that you are not among our list of many satisfied customers.
