I’ve fished out of Ucluelet every summer for the past 10 years.  Although this was my first trip with Andrew it proved to be one of the best.  Andrew is a top-notch guide.  He’s confident, thoughtful and hardworking.  He quickly assessed our competency and comfort levels and then tailored his helping efforts accordingly.  This included pulling up lines quickly when the fish proved scarce and trying out other spots.  He was adept at driving the boat and keeping our lines in the water.  He was always courteous and respectful, never pandering or prideful.  Just as importantly he didn’t talk too much or say stupid stuff.  Instead he was all business - and very busy.  On our second day we limited out in just three hours, letting lots of wild coho and undersized springs go in the process.  His equipment was great and his boat spacious and comfortable.  I’m keen to go out with him again.

We had a great time! Andrew knows the local waters and the best spots, we had salmon on in minutes. Would highly recommend!!!
