Captain Tony Johnson is an enthusiastic angler. He grew up on a boat and has been fishing all his life - catching bait and selling fish at the age of 8. With over 25 years of experience on the water, he has gained vast knowledge about many different fishing techniques and is happy to share his knowledge with you - its all about getting fish on the hook and enjoying your day on the water.
At Hooking Up we welcome anglers of all experience levels, for all types of fishing. Based out of Jupiter, FL, your trip will be an adventure in our brand new 31 ft Center Console GF Classic Twin Vee. Powered by two 300 HP Suzuki outboard engines, the ride is a dream and able to fly across the waves with ease and comfort, she cruises at speeds of over 35 knots. Equipped with the latest Simrad electronics and Halo radar to find the fish and keep you safe. Licenced to carry up to 6 passengers in full comfort.

Half Day Trip – Nearshore • 3 adultsWhen I booked this charter, I made it clear that we were three peeps looking for some fun times fishing with like-minded folk. Hailing from Lake of the Woods, MN, we are used to fresh water fights (i.e. walleye, pike, musky). This was on a completely different level! Captain Tony and his first mate (also a Captain) did not disappoint! From the moment we stepped on the boat to the last one out, we were having a blast! As a rather lively bunch, we were jamming to some amazing tunes...even the Capt was heard singing along. Overall, the day was great! Caught some kings and a shark. Learned a lot about the sport too (including just how tired your arm gets reeling in a doozy). It is without reservation that I recommend Capt Tony. I cannot wait to return for more fun!

I enjoyed the comaraderie almost more than the fishing. Captain Tony is a genuine captain, he knows his craft, and I know through conversation that he is in the business to provide the full fishing experience. I have been on many fishing trips, and I would absolutely recommend Captain Tony for his expertise and customer service.
