Captain Jimmy is the perfect guide for planning a fishing trip to Lake Fork, regardless of your fishing experience. His knowledge of both bass fishing and Lake Fork itself were elite. He knew what lures to use, when to use them, and where exactly to cast them to catch a big bass. My friend and I caught multiple bass during our 5-hour trip including some 5-pounders!

I gave this trip to my husband as a Christmas gift, and he loved it! Captain Jimmy was very knowledgeable and helpful in all ways. My husband and son in law went on the trip, and both of them came back with great fish stories to tell. Jimmy was flexible and friendly and easy to work with. Captain Jimmy’s knowledge of patterns and locations was the difference! 

Brought my high school son up to Lake Fork to experience something different than what he is used to. On a tough day that required a lot of work, he was still able to record his 5 fish PB of 21 #’s and at the same time humble his dad.

My son decided that coming all the way to Lake Fork required him to put one crappie in the boat - it only took a few minutes.  It was then back to chasing largemouth.

My daughter, my parents and myself had an amazing time on this half day fishing trip for Crappie.

It was all of our first time ever fishing for Crappie and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Jimmy was patient and knowledgeable. He put us in the perfect spots every time. His equipment is state of the art. He even kept us out a little longer because we were so close to limiting out on Crappie (100 between all 4 of us) he didn’t want to leave until we did. We also learned a TON about Crappie fishing (as well as other types) that I feel like we could at least not be totally lost on our own lol.

While I realize no one is guaranteed this level of success every time out, I would schedule with Jimmy again in a heartbeat. I feel like with him guiding us we would at least have our best chance!
