It was our first fishing charter and we had a great time! I wish I had taken some videos of my kid pulling in the huge red fish he caught. I sent my dad, brother in law and fiancé out with Captain Hawkins. They had an absolute blast. Captain Hawkins was laid back and easy to talk to and made sure they landed some fish despite it not being peak season. They said we have to come back just to go out another trip with Captain Hawkins. 10 out of 5 stars. Highly recommend!

Never fished east coast and so this is first time for me and my kid.  Captain Hawkins was super knowledgeable and will teach you the proper way to catch, fight and handle the fish.  We started the day early on Captain’s recommendation and that was a blessing because SC is nice and toasty.  Ice cold water were provided and the captain will help you do almost everything except fighting the fish. I will definitely revisit Captain Hawkins again when I am back in Folly Beach.

Our family of three had a great time fishing around the Folly Beach area. Captain Brian put us right on the fish and kept us all in the zone till the afternoon bite worn off. We had our 7 year old with us and he’s telling us it was “The Best Time of his Life”!! Would highly recommend.

Captain Hawkins was very attentive to our needs, giving us clear instructions (I am a novice), taking care of the bait, and handling the fish we caught.  And we caught at least 10 or 12 sheepshead apiece.  Couldn’t catch any reds and the weather was less than ideal, so he graciously offered us a discount, which was most appreciated.  Took good care of us, and easy to talk to.  Definitely recommend.
