I took my son out fishing with Captain Jason for his birthday.  This was our first experience with a fishing charter.  We had a great day despite rough seas and weather.  We caught 4 big Kings as well as other fish in our 5 hours on the water.  When bait was in the water it never seemed to take long to get a bite so we had pretty consistent action.  The weather cut our trip short by about an hour which was a bummer but obviously have no control over that.  My only complaint was with the bait.  It appeared that on other boats the guests were helping to catch the bait.  We only had one pole rigged up to catch bait and and the first mate was catching the bait.  If we would have had two more poles ready to catch bait it certainly would have reduced the time spent catching bait and increased the amount of time fishing.  If we would have had consistent bait we would have caught a bunch more fish.  Overall it was a great day and a great experience.  Captain Jason certainly knows what he is doing and where to go to make it happen.  If I am ever in the area again looking to do another charter, Captain Jason would be my contact.  Thank you for a wonderful and memorable birthday for my son!

5 of us went out with captain Jason for the morning and we couldn’t bring the fish in fast enough. He put us right on top of them and Dylan was great with keeping our hooks baited. Great weather and tons of fish!

Captain Yates knows his business. He will work until you feel like you’ve got more than your monies worth. The Amberjacks were unbelievable! Me and my teenage son both made memories that will last a lifetime.

Great crew. Had us on fish at first stop. Pulled in 30 there and then limited out at 40. Caught at least another 25 that were released. Hit multiple spots and had fish on at everyone. We had booked for a Monday and Captain J contacted us to suggest we change to a different day due to weather and sea conditions forecast, so we picked Wednesday which turned out to be a beautiful day just as he predicted it would be. Great coaching, the whole family was rippin lips.

Had a great time catching a variety of deep sea fish. Jason was a friendly and patient teacher for us newbies and we enjoyed learning from him. Highly recommend. Thanks!
