We went on a full day trip with Capt. Daron and his deckhand Skylar. It was absolutely the best trip with a fishing guide I’ve ever experienced!! Daron and Skylar were stand up guys. They were by far the friendliest and most personable crew I’ve ever had the pleasure of sharing a boat with.  The opportunity to try out this fishery and observe the abundance of sea life alone was definitely worth the trip. We got to watch seals swim next to the boat, herds of 100’s if not 1000’s of dolphins traveling on the surface, whales coming in close to check out the boat, and literal miles of tuna. There was a point in the trip where Daron parked us in an area where there were tuna surface feeding as far as you could see in any direction. It was no accident either. Daron and Skylar work their hardest to put you where the tuna are. They are constantly moving, navigating all the grounds until they find tuna that are ready to play. They are bar none the hardest working guys I’ve ever seen on a boat. They were just as excited if not more excited than us to get hooked up and more excited to see a fish on the deck. I couldn’t recommend them enough. We will surely be going back to Southern CA and will most definitely be using Daron and Skylar again. If there was a 10 star option, I would’ve chosen that.

We recently had the pleasure of going on a fishing charter with FreshBait Sportfishing, and it was an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Our captain was exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly skilled. His expertise made a significant difference in ensuring we had a successful day on the water.

As for the fishing itself, we had a fantastic haul! We caught a variety of fish, including halibut, rockfish, and bass. The captain’s tips and tricks were invaluable in reeling in these beauties.

If you’re looking for an outstanding fishing adventure in Southern California, I highly recommend this charter. The combination of a stellar captain, excellent boat, and thrilling fishing made for a truly memorable day. Can’t wait for the next trip!

Daron and Marco were both fantastic, treated all 6 of us as if we were family. Made ever effort to locate fish and consistency ensured that each of us caught fish. I wouldn’t hesitate to charter with them again in the future. I will recommend them to everyone I know.

I cant tell you the last time I’ve been on such a clean, well run, well organized, have everything you need and then some, kind of a vessel. The Captains hospitality, attitude, and willingness to help were 2nd to none! I can’t wait to do another trip on this one. Captain Marco and Skylar were so awesome. Very friendly and great with the kids. They made everything so easy. Would definitely recommend this trip for all those newbie fishermen. Boat was great and in good condition. It was so comfortable for 6 people.
