We had an amazing first Florida Keys fishing experience with Captain Sal experiencing both reef and back country at its best. Sal is a great teacher for those who want to learn and has endless patience. We learnt lots of new techniques and tips. The 24’ boat is fast and rides the open ocean very dry and comfortably. We had a GREAT time fishing with Captain Sal. If you are looking to book a fun fishing trip look no further. We ended up catching about 12 different species of fish. 3 Sharks, 2 Tarpon, Snapper, yellowtail, Hogfish (dorkfish ;) ) Porgi, pufferfish, and more. Our 3/4 day fishing trip was full of fun. Took my two adult kids out on Captain Sal’s boat. Sal knew all the best spots, and we caught multiple fish on all three places. Both my kids were novices when it came to fishing, but Sal made sure they always had a baited hook, took the landed fish off the line for them, and had a phone ready for pictures. It was the highlight of our four-day vacation! Highly recommend Hooligan and Captain Sal!

Can’t even find the proper words to describe his professionality, his kindness, and his attitude towards us. Captain Sal and Hooligan Sportfishing are a true gem!
