I truly can’t say enough good things about Captain Pierre and our amazing day with Rising Sun Fishing Charter. From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations, from the quality of the boat and gear to the personalized attention we received throughout the trip.

Captain Pierre is incredibly friendly, funny, and knowledgeable, the kind of person who instantly puts you at ease and makes the entire experience more enjoyable. He worked with us to reschedule when we had a conflict and was extremely accommodating, which we really appreciated.

The boat was spotless, the rods and reels were solid, and every detail was clearly handled with care and professionalism. Whether we needed help baiting hooks, casting lines, or netting a catch, Captain Pierre was right there, always encouraging and always patient. Seeing a dolphin was an added bonus!

This trip was well worth the money, in fact, for the level of service and experience we had, it should probably cost more. We’ll absolutely be booking again next year and are already looking forward to it.

Y’all, we had the best time as a family fishing with Captain Pierre.  Our 11-year-old son chose this trip as his gift to celebrate going into middle school. Captain Pierre knew this and he did not disappoint. He cared so much about making sure that our son caught some fish. He was very patient and always there with a helping hand. We did a short 2-hour trip but we loved every minute of it. This was very relaxing and lots of fun! Definitely recommend and we will be back.

We booked a trip with Rising Sun Charters and Captain Pierre for my dad’s birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience. Within 10 minutes, someone had already landed the first fish—and the action didn’t stop. By the end, we caught 9 big red drums, all solid size.

We booked a trip with Rising Sun Fishing for my husband’s birthday, and it was an absolute success! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and so much fun for the whole family. We caught a bunch of fish, and the highlight of the day was watching our daughter reel in her very first fish—such a special memory we’ll never forget!

Captain Pierre was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone felt comfortable, whether it was our first time fishing or not. He was especially great with the kids, keeping the day light and exciting. We even made a fun stop at a sandbar, which gave us a chance to stretch, enjoy the beautiful day, and let the kids get some wiggles out before heading back.

Capt. Pierre was outstanding. Not only did we catch our limit in the first 1/2 hour of the trip, we continued to fish using “catch and release” method. He made the trip enjoyable and fun. If you have a good sense of humor, Capt. Pierre has a better one! This was a truly memorable experience and we are going to book another trip with him in September or October.
