So the day started slow.  Took 3 hours but finally landed a monster mahi. Pretty quickly after, a yellowfin.  And just a few minutes before heading in, the prize…a giant sailfish.  El capitan was doing everything he could to get me one, and he did.  Crew was awesome.  Highly recommended! I think we were the only ones that caught a tuna that day as well.

Date Sept. 28th. Dorado/Mahi fishing is picking up and we had good fishing around the drift wood, leaves, and seaweed that floats along the confluence of a current line between disparate water masses. I was a little worried at first when the boat owner Luis warned us that they were having a difficult time catching live bait. He offered to let us switch to an offshore trip, but since I had one of those booked later in the week we decided to to stick with inshore. It took us a while but the captain was able to find us enough bait to fish inshore effectively. We had multiple chances at Roosterfish (notoriously hard to keep hooked) and caught several nice jacks. My wife and I booked a full day offshore and a 1/2 day inshore February 20th and 21st 2025.Luis and his crew were outstanding on finding the action. Offshore we caught yellow fin and also a decent sailfish. In shore we targeted rooster fish , and as fishing goes sometimes it was pretty slow . We had a couple of hookups but lost them. It was getting close to the time to make the run back to the marina but Luis ran south (the opposite way and we picked up a nice rooster. Luis is a good fisherman... More

There were 4 of us in our group and we all caught big Sailfish and 1 small Tuna. Crew was awesome and boat was great.
