My husband and I booked our first charter in Orange Beach/Fort Morgan. We were concerned about Hurricane Helen as our charter was the Wednesday before she hit Florida and the rest our country. The crew bumped up our time so we could enjoy the relaxing trip before the weather turned. Fortunately the whole area of Orange Beach never had a drop of rain and the waves were minimal. Captain Jamie took us out to catch some fun (river tuna), not sure the real name.. they were fun to reel in. I brought in the first and moments later my hushed had his chance to reel in a bigger one. We then headed to a calm inlet to catch our daily limit of Red Fish so we had something to bring back to our condo to eat. It was a relaxing and fun trip. We were a little skeptical of the weather, but we stayed in calm waters and enjoyed our time. Thanks!

My husband loves to fish. I do not. Captain Jamie made it so much fun though!  Glad he talked me into reeling in a few fish. He kept us busy too!  He knew the area well, what had been biting and where to find them. He didn’t waste time at locations that were not working out. We ended up with more fish than we know what to do with!  He was helpful and answered all of my questions with a smile!  We will be back and absolutely request Captain Jamie!  He even reached out the week before. We had booked a later time but it was getting so hot. I really appreciated him looking out for us!

We had a mix of ages in our group and everyone had a good time! The crew was great about getting us to a spot where we caught fish. We kept our catch, bluefish and spanish mackerel. The captian recommended soaking the bluefish in buttermilk before breading and frying and it turned out wonderful! Both kinds of fish were delicious! The crew was also very great about watching out for our youngest fisher (9). He was looking a little seasick, so they were able to get us in a spot with some shade where the water was calm and fish were still biting. The attention to detail and making sure everyone was comfortable made for a fantastic trip!

My boys (10 and 11) have only ever fished off the pier at our lake in Wisconsin.  They’ve been asking to take charter boat fishing trip.  Looked up charter fishing and landed on Stressed Out.  We did the 3hr trip and it was everything they wanted.  Cpt Jamie took us out and we casted our lines.  No bites so we moved spots.  Cpt dropped a lure and fish was on the line.  He quickly gave it to my 11 year old son who spent 8 minutes reeling while Cpt Jamie instructed him on what to do.  He finally pulled the 15lb tuna on the boat.  My son was thrilled.  Few minutes later my other son got a bite and Cpt Jamie talked him through it.  “You gonna get him or he’s gonna get you” was all my son needed to pull up his snapper.  We caught 3 more blue gills within the next 15 minutes.  Went back to the dock to get them cleaned and took them to a restaurant to get cooked.  It’s a memory the boys will keep with them forever.  Great overall experience.  Will definitely book with Stressed Out again if we come back down here for another vacation.

Captain Scott and his 1st mate Jordan were the best. Captain Scott was able to work things around the weather to get my family to very productive spots for Red Snapper. I got to catch a personal best fish, my son beat everyone in quantity, my daughter even got to catch a couple fish too and she is 3! Jordan was very knowledgeable and helped my son succeed in catching all his fish. We even got to see dolphins on our trip while we were out on a hole where I got my 25.3lb Red Snapper. I can’t rate these guys higher because 5 is the highest this scale can go and I can not wait to go out again with Captain Scott’s Stressed Out Charters.
