My 14 year old son and I went out fishing with Captain Pepe and his first mat Manny. They were so kind, polite and accommodating. We hit some bad weather, and the captain worked so hard to keep us out of it and safe. We were told at the beginning that the fishing had been slow, but we were lucky enough to catch a couple. They worked so hard constantly changing out rigging. If we return, we will certain go back out.

Every moment was enjoyable for our family and professional, thanks to Captain Pepe and Manny. From the moment we greeted on land until we said goodbye with some fresh filleted mahi, they were genuinely interested in giving us their best. When we hit fish, the energy level ramps up, so always be ready to dig in and help land those fish! I highly recommend this guide for an amazing fishing experience in Puerto Rico.

We booked this trip with Captain Jose to make my childhoods dream true: catch a sailfish. I contacted Cap. Bluewater Fishing was the best open water fishing experience we have ever had.  Captain Pepe and Mate Manny got us off to a great start, even though we were 10 minutes late.  We caught 14 fish, 6 different types.  4 Mahi Mahi,6 Skipjack tuna,1 yellowfin tuna, 1 Wahoo, a barracuda, and an amazing Sailfish! Captain Jose and Manny were great despite rough conditions that made four out of five of us seasick. It seems like the warm waters this year in early - mid March made it harder to catch anything. We did manage to catch a small Amberjack in 2+ hours, but decided to call it and speed back in due to sickness. I would book them again, but with some gravol.
