You really can’t ask for a better trip! Captain Gene and Jeff were awesome with our two 5 yr olds on the boat. His boat is a catamaran fishing boat so it keeps you and the kids extremely comfortable even in high winds (we had some at first). They both worked with each of the kids to make sure they had a blast. I’m not sure who had more fun seeing the kids catch so many fish - us dads or Captain Gene and Jeff! It wasn’t until the kids were worn out reeling up their fish when he asked if the adults wanted a go. So he put us on some bigger snapper! Then when most guides would have just brought us back to the ramp, Captain Gene asked if we wanted to try for some bull reds. That’s when he wore out the dads and grandpa - pulling in 8 monster bull reds! You never know what you’re getting when you go out with a new guide, but finding Captain Gene was exactly what we wanted and then some! He and Jeff are out there because they both love fishing and sharing their passion with others and it rubs off with everyone. Thanks again! I look forward to going back out with you soon!

This was 3 of 4 first fishing adventure. The weather was great but the seas were rough due to a storm in the Gulf. Cpt. and crew were very thoughtful and forward of what to expect if we went out. We did, and I am so glad!! The seas were very rough and the swells were high, but we had the time of our lives. We caught quite a few fish, enough for a dinner or two, Several nice size snapper we couldn’t keep because not in season yet, but the adventure was well worth it. We will be back, and hopefully calmer seas and seasonal fishing. Sorry I don’t have pictures.

Eugene and Wanda were great!  This was our family’s first fishing charter and it was awesome!  What a great experience for everyone, kids and adults. We were very lucky to find that the Bull Reds were spawning when we were out…literally hundreds of ‘big fish’ swimming on top of each other and biting like crazy. We then switched gears and were able to land some Red Snappers out by one of the gas drilling rigs.  Cherry on top was probably 2 dozen dolphin sighting…thanks for a great day!!

Most enjoyable day ever. Captain Eugene and his family, as well as deckhand Josh, made this trip amazing. Very family oriented crew and truly make sure you enjoy your experience. My father, brother, and I were blown away by how much they went above and beyond to ensure that everyone aboard had a personal, and out of this world day on the water. Cannot thank them enough for blessing us with this experience. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be fishing with them again in the future. Thanks Captain, fam, and josh!

I can’t say enough good things about the half day fishing experience with Captain Robert and his Deck Mate Jeff. This was the first time that me, my son, son in law, and cousin had gone out on a boat to fish in salt water. Captain Robert and Dean were patient with us and put us on the fish very quickly. We had a very productive and fun day fishing and made memories of a life time. We highly recommend Captain Robert and will book him again for our next vacation to Gulf Shores. What Great experience!
